The Peranakan Museum is a pretty good museum to bring children to. The kids’ activities for their open day events are usually very fun and engaging. My daughter still remembers the cooking demonstration by Peranakan chef Ms Violet Onn where she got squeeze otak otak paste and made roti jala. We adults had such a good time too, participating in the cooking demonstration. The open house activities regularly features face painting (always a hit!) and air dough making. There is always the free ice cream that they give away. What more could a child want from a museum visit?!!
